SW Iowa | I wouldn't be scared of a Mazda if it meets your needs. Though less common than some other brands I think there are enough around there will be aftermarket parts support for common problems even if something happened to the mothership. Most parts probably originate from an outside supplier rather than Mazda making stuff themselves, anyway.
Might also be worth looking at Subaru, if you haven't. When we were shopping for my wife a couple years ago we both significantly preferred the Forester over RAV4 after driving them. Mazdas drove ok but seemed quite a bit smaller inside. | |
