Illinois Heartland | Mazda was recently looking at buying Nissan as they are in trouble. The deal just fell through though. It may be true as you describe about Mazda, but I was not aware of it.
My wife trades vehicles every 3-4 years. She had a 2015 CX-5, then a 2019 CX-5. She then traded for a 2023 Nissan Rogue Platinum.
I absolutely loved the 2 Mazda’s she had. Super dependable, quiet, rode nice, comfortable seats, awesome Bose radio, consistent 30+mpg, & build quality was great.
I tried to talk her in to another CX-5 when she traded, but she wanted something different and had several Nissans previously. The Rogue has a lot of high tech features she likes.
All I can say is there is a reason Nissan is having troubles. She said she won’t ever buy a Nissan again. She’s got a couple years till she trades again and will probably go back to a Mazda. | |
