Dayton, IA | Not much help if you have already bought all the parts. I bought a section of replacement flighting one time and spent most of a day inside the box cutting off and grinding old flighting and rewelding on new. I think the one section of flighting was close to $500. After doing that I asked Post equipment about cost of a new lower auger. I think it was less than $2500. I promised myself to buy a new auger if I ever needed to fix one again. Just unbolt the old one pull it out, drop in the new one, bolt it back up and done. Throw in a new bearing if needed and probably never have to touch it again. | |
