North central TX | Well, how'd everyone out west weather this latest storm? Saw the video of the big pile up on I-27 yesterday. Here just west of the I-35 corridor, we had gusts over 60, sustained of 40 at times. The dust had visibility down under 1/2 mile. It reminded me of the solar eclipse the way the sun light was off and the shadows were dancing around. Ive been waiting on a couple of first calvers to domino. Really figured the weather would push them over the edge yesterday, but no dice. Lots of down tree limbs, but we missed the worst of it here it seemed. Got incredibly lucky and the couple of fires that started were in areas they couldn't get a head of steam, and we're contained quickly. I know the Panhandle area got hit hard again in a few spots. | |
