| If you are getting new head, go ahead and get a 4408. It will have the the roll a cones on the outside. A big help in down corn.
As others have said, it shells corn some but a bu. an acre looks like a lot.
I bought mine a few years ago, and at that time, a new one wasn't going to cost much more than a used one that needed some work.
