Subject: RE: Ultrasounding cows ?

Northeast Iowa
Most of them won't take a guess on embryo sex before 50 days. After 100-105 days, it gets harder to sex them as easily or as accurately. Pregnancy diagnosis is no problem from 30 days on up.

I've had five different vets use ultrasound to predict the sex of the embryo over the last 25-30 years. Accuracy rates have been as high as 100% and as low as better-than-a-coin-flip. It all varies by doctor.
