North Central Kansas | My brother has a set up similar to this but with just two sort alleys. His alleys are 16' wide x 60'. On each end is a 16' wide alley. We sort 100 pairs in this set up. If you have the money and space four pens would work really nice. With the alleys on each end of the sort alleys you have lots of options. We like the 16' alley as it allows you to let cattle pass with one person. You can sort cattle into you alleys on the end and sort smaller groups also. If you can make it so the gates on the long alley can be latch across the alleys on the end as well.
