Subject: RE: biostimulants in soybeans

Southeast WI

"Across 100 growing environments in 22 states, there was no product that consistently improved soybean yield compared to the non-treated control."

That may be all we need to know?  Shawn Conley, Cool Bean @ UW several years ago had a grad student summarize 30 years of trials testing all kinds of biologicals and foo foo stuff.  Inoculating soybeans will give a response in responsive fields.  Nothing else worked.  Yet we see people reaching for magic fairy dust all the time on here.  Not sure how many times one has to get fingers slammed in the truck door to realize there's no upside to this garbage.
