You did all you can at this point. Hinfarm knows my experience and it's deny, deny, deny from any but the best of outfits. I hope Nutrien in your location is one of the best.
Nitrogen application can be size neutral if you so choose. I wouldn't say you had better things to do instead of this as N application is one of the most important things when growing corn.
