Western Ontario | I had a JD 7220 with loader get pushed over a hill by 2 yearling bulls (had it in park with a straw bale on the front, bulls started smashing at the bale and broke the parking pin and away it went down a 100 foot embankment) back in 2023. Bad timing coming out of Covid, very low inventory of tractors that size and after looking for about 6 weeks and I bought a 6130r with 1200 hours. It has IVT which I thought I’d hate but actually love. Also has front suspension. I literally never have to touch the clutch anymore and my left hip that was starting to agonize has no pain, My back was always sore and that has gone away as well….hard to put a price on those 2 things. I put 1200 hours a year on it (it’s also my spray tractor) and I would put it right at a 7410 as far as power and pulling ability. I’m not really a tractor guy but it’s kind of nice to get out of a tractor after 8-12 hours and not feel like you’ve fallen out of a tree. | |
