Longevity is one of the most important traits in my opinion.
If you buy a $3500 bred heifer and you can get 14 or 15 calves out of her then she was a bargain.
The top indexing I posted about below is her grandson. Is that close enough?
I've got several daughters and grand daughters in my herd and will no doubt keep the one she's got now.
