Weatherford, OK | Yeah, you have to watch out for the motor stall amps required. Mine is just barely big enough to start the compressor, but more than enough to keep it running even at full pressure. I ran 2-O wire to the battery on mine. By the numbers, the inverter could pull 150amps at full load and the length was about 15' so I had to be sure to have enough capacity for the inverter without having too much voltage drop because most inverters have a low voltage kick out. I wouldn't try it unless you have two batteries in your truck. If not, like you said, put one next to the inverter help start the high load items and to keep your voltage in working range. | |
