| It does to some extent. There are less young folks than old folks, the old folks are trying to retire. The old folks still want new cars etc. So the amount of consumption is up ( or trying to go up). mean while there are less younger folks ( total) to do the work.
The problem is compounded by the fact that most think 30 hours is a big week and that being at work is the same as working.
Not to mention the 10% that will not work at all. | |
