East Prairie, MO | Once when I got tired of having a gas powered compressor in the back of my truck I started to do about the same thing. Another local guy had done it, got a smaller Dewalt 110 compressor and a BIG inverter and some 10 guage wire, ran it back to the bed but could never get it to start the compressor and put it all back the way I had it, later found out he had it just like I did only with a battery right by the inverter in the bed so I guess that was my problem with power, how did you wire yours? I wish you could see the mass of boxes and things permanently mounted in my bed, I can hardly carry anything extra without a trailer! | |
