| I think many are missing the point. Lever actions are viewed as working tools of cowboys. Media has vilified AR as guns designed to kill hundreds of children, bolt action rifles as SNIPER weapons designed to kill from miles away so nobody is safe.
I admit out of state, but in state I am legal. I often carry a snub revolver in 38. It’s perception by even younger Police is “old guys gun to feel safe but not threat”. Where Glock 19 might be what they are issued. *or similar in .40*
He is working within laws, and what is least likely to be outlawed in Canada in next decade. I think.
