Iowa | Not to change the subject - but why are many bolt action and lever action the same price/more than the ar platform? I've got buddies that get the cheap $400 ar's and they are more accurate than the shooter is, then you look at a bolt action and its basically the same money, or the price difference isnt enough to worry about - same with lever actions - comparatively expensive for what you get. I was looking specifically at 350 legend for a kids deer gun - which a bolt action is nice because I can SEE that the bolt is open and nothing in the chamber. There are some really sharp looking lever actions out there. | |
