Edge of RRV MN | Switched to AI XR last year and they worked great at holding the proper spray pattern at low and high PSI. The tip is a nice balance between managing fines (drift) and getting to big of a droplet if tankmixing a contact herbicide or an insecticide in with glyphosate. The AIXR's are also half the size of the AI nozzles so if you ever hit the dirt with your booms the tip might not break. AIXR's may not last as long since they are all plastic and no stainless insert but they cost less than $4.00 a piece. I do not use any drift control agent with these tips but I also do not spray dicamba either. | |
