One possibility of mounting it where it would have a full view of the sky is on the roof of the shop.


At GNSS receiver, the elevation mask should be set to at least 10° Having a 360 horizontal sky view is not needed.

"The elevation mask [on rover] is set to 15° to ward off atmospheric distortion and possible multipath errors due to structural interference. High multipath effects can degrade the time coefficient used to determine the solution and lessen the positional accuracy of the data."
