I took out some salient points for those loath to click on a link.  I have no opinion on this article, it was on Drudge and I'm sharing it.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/health-fitness/diet/nutrition/carnivore-diet-explained-benefits-risks/

the carnivore diet can lead to impaired kidney function.

longer-term concerns about keto diets, especially the carnivore diet, include the increased risk of kidney stones, gout, and osteoporosis.

small studies have suggested that a carnivorous diet may improve markers of health, such as weight loss, blood sugar control, and inflammation. However, these studies have been small and short-term

The diet lacks the essential plant micronutrients and antioxidants found in fruits, vegetables, wholegrains and legumes.
It has a significant lack of fibre, which is essential for gut health and function, and is associated with a lower risk of heart disease, bowel cancer and Type 2 diabetes.
There is a lack of fibre, and this is likely to cause constipation.
It is unsuitable for certain groups, including children, pregnant or lactating women, as well as those who have been diagnosed with impaired kidney function.
The exclusion of carbohydrates means the body misses out on a great food for the nervous system and thyroid.
The diet lacks essential nutrients like vitamin C, and polyphenols. Without careful planning and supplementation, followers of the carnivore diet may be at risk of nutrient deficiencies, which can lead to health problems over time.

I do love the references to type 2 diabetes.

It is literally impossible to develop type 2 diabetes if you only eat lots of animal fat and red meat.

Fiber "associated" with a lower risk of type 2 diabetes? I would rather take the impossible to develop type 2 diabetes route.

Fiber "essential" for gut "health and function"? Tell that to my friend that was dealing with SIBO. You know what cures SIBO? Take a guess...

Constipation? Go on a carnivore diet and you might find the opposite while your body adjusts. After a week or two, its an occasional "phantom wipe".

As for kidney function, as long as you get enough animal fat in your diet, your kidneys will darn near be able to go on vacation if you go to a carnivore diet.

Carbs a "great food"? If you are a cow or want to be built like a cow, I concur.

As always, your mileage may vary
