oxford county, ontario | If you heard hissing & now you don't, you have a leak somewhere, & your system is now contaminated...with air. You'll need to get some one who is equiped with air conditioning repair equipment to replace whatever is leaking, evacuate the system, test it for leaks, add a new dryer & refill the system with the proper refrigerant. Unless you have experience, or know someone who does, its one of those things you just have to bite the bullet & hire it done ...not usually too cheap, but not to comfortable with out the A/C either...!!! Have a mechanic around here that works independent that specializes in A/C work, & one company that makes aftermarket A/C systems that do better work than the JD dealer & cheaper, may be worth asking around your area for someone like that... | |
