I used a total of 4 shark bites on some heat exchangers. All 4 leaked. Luckily they're all out where they're easily accessible. I have a friend that's a plumber. He cringes at the thought of shark bites. With the experience I had with them I'd never use them in a wall or somewhere not accessible. They are easy though and require no tools
