Central Illinois | I understand that several older JD 230 Disks have been made into vertical tillage tools with minimum effort. I also understand that I would need to pull these tools about 8 mph. What size of JD 230 disk seems to work better than others (I see several sizes available and some with wheels on the wings)? Are there certain sizes that need less added weight? How much horsepower is needed to pull these tools at the desired speed?
