No not foolish. There is nothing wrong with what you are doing. If a may ask though. Would you eat those natural chemicals if they were extracted from a plant and put into some other dish as an ingredient?


I would not if I could not or would not extract the ingredient in my kitchen. About the only 3 foods I will eat that even have an ingredient list are pork rinds, butter, and cheese. And I am extremely picky about the ingredients. There are very few cheeses that I will eat, just because of the ingredients.

My spices all have ingredient lists but they are all one ingredient lists.
