Ne Colorado | So we were in the market for a tub grinder and a salesman swore up and down a hay buster would be more versatile and give us a pretty similar and product. I had my doubts, but we went and bought it. I do like using it and I do see the versatility. But his big selling point was it would take care of the net wrap and chew it up like a tub grinder will. Well sir, that’s not exactly taken care of…. That’s an absolute tangled mess!!!
On these hay busters 2620s are you better off to come in with a second tractor and pick up the bales, cut the net wrap off separately and then load the machine?? Or just let the rotor fill up with net wrap and hope you get lucky burning it off?? Haybusters are not very common here with these big feedlots so this is foreign technology for us
