No, just more of what I don't need as a diabetic, namely sugar. It is a carbohydrate and by severely limiting my carbohydrate consumption I control both my blood sugar and insulin without medication so ultimately my insulin resistance.

It is not that a tiny amount is doing any great harm. It is just more of a "death by a thousand cuts" that a diabetic faces if he does not control the blood glucose levels and insulin levels properly over time.

It is a situation, with me specifically as a diabetic, that less is better.
