Scrapers sooner tear up tractors when somebody tries to cut too deep, in too low of a gear. I load scrapers at 4.5-5 mph. Those who tear things up will claim that can't be done.
I load at 5mph too. 5the gear in a Steiger 500. Sometimes 4th but that’s rare. Haul in 7th or 9th if I’ve got a long way to go and it’s smooth.
