Texas | Lots of different experiences in this world. My firefighter son moved out at 18 , he waited until my wife and I got married , moved out next day . He gets along great with my wife . When we got back from FT worth he had an apartment rented and was packed . I came in and said WTF son ? . He said no dad nothings wrong I want to make my own way . I told him the door is always open if it don’t work out . He never came back we remain very close still .
I guess that’s an abnormal event in this world .
I have friends that have kids that , get in trouble go to jail
And just can’t seem to get it together.
I wanted to make my own way at 19 , was an apprentice diesel mechanic. We were still farming a bunch of land .
I told grandad and he hit the roof , grandad could sure cuss and I got one that day . He said he could not believe I was gonna leave him after all he had done for me .
We reached a compromise and I got a trailer house and stayed on the farm .
