There is a reason bulldozers are seldom fueled over 250 hp... The amount of stress that is put on the drive train is incredible. Especially after a torque converter draws down tight. I read somewhere that a rotating shaft can handle a whole lot more power, only after you increase the speed at which it is turning. Im guessing tactors are engineered to operate at target speeds over 4mph.
