Subject: RE: Case IH JX series tractors

Central Mo

I've got a JX 95 mfd with a loader, bought it last year and has 500 hrs on it now.  Starts well when it is cold, good hydaulics, good on fuel, can see well from cab, noisy though.

Seems to have some little things that aren't  desirable.  Hyd controls are in an awkward place.  After 6 months the clearcoat on the hood looks pretty bad(typical red).  Hood latch doesn't operate properly, fuel gauge has quit, several oil leaks have shown up.  Transmission has a pretty good wine to it in second range(has since new).  Pain in the a$$ putting hyd oil in it.

Have used a little green one of about the same size and the creature comforts  and workmanship seem to be better, even though it would be 5or 6000 more I would lean that way this time.

Have got red and green tractors, don't care what color they are.
