west-byGod-Pa. | This is a highly complex issue. One reason why this society is the way that it is- is the loss of fatherhood by way of war. Way too many children have been denied critical fatherhood by way of war deceased/ damage. (2) That this society has moved from rural foundation to suburban/urban has allowed society to develop in such a way that children grow up in a "useless" / irresponsible way. Children no longer are needed to do chores, take care of animals/crops, do enormous amounts of physical, boring labor. My. This society is doing a terrible job of evaluating where it is & where it is going. Our consumerism is a dope that keeps us busy while time matches on.
Lastly, the business model that built this society in this generation has created an employment atmosphere that for many is just plain awful: not creative, not fulfilling, not economically profitable, not meaningful. This is one society that CANNOT long endure without a direct RELATIONSHIP with Almighty God. This is a society that makes a mockery of acknowledging God but going it's own way. It cannot end well. Oh, by the way.......such a preponderance on TV/video stuff is a drug to the mind. Our brain is not made to be so drugged on what the eyes & ears take in. Life apart from rural life is very artificial | |
