Sometimes the father was lazy and the kids take after him,other times the mother doesn't want an empty nest and the kid wants to stay a kid and they use each other. Back about 15 years ago there were a bunch of financial businesses that laid people off and 25 year olds with college degrees moved back in with their parents rather than get a blue collar job
