The best backup for your most precious pictures is to burn copies to a DVD-R, and send them to a printer such as Walmart or Walgreens.


What’s the chance of a dvd going the way of floppy drives and the dodo birds?

And if they were very precious photos I’d get them printed on archival paper by a pro service.
