Oil cannot tell time, change at the hours recommended. And if it supposedly goes bad in the engine after a year, why is it still good in the barrel or bucket??
Same here. Unless it will only make it half way through a season or something, then we change pre season just for convenience. I was trying to sell a tractor once, guy came, crawled all over it, drove it, said it was really nice and he thought he was going to take it. Then he noticed the date i had written on the filter was 18 months old, instantly done because we weren't maintaining it properly in his eyes......... |
