My guess now, based on that, is whatever circuit(s) become energized or de-energized, when pedal is pushed, must be causing the static

Maybe ground point for transmission controller isn't absolutely perfect and it's "sharing " the ground through the cab-lighting-accessory-radio-ect ground.

Same with hitch circuits, they share something, somewhere with radio.

Would be worthwhile to open up the wire harness schematic and map out what shares what, and where.
