Yes that is done a lot.
But had a very strange thing related to that happen when custom harvesting in Kansas in 89.
Had to put in new transmission in St Francis,KS so replaced steel lines with rubber made at the Napa store there.
It was employee's first day on the job.
He crimped the steel ends too tight.
Less than 1/8 inch hole.
Took off and trans oil got so hot it nearly
burned but we got it put out.
But the store paid for damages.
