| They do muddle things. They're 550 acres is from the one unit. Says it makes 110k lbs of N/or. That would be 200lbs an acre not 110. So they're even further off. I'm wondering if their meaning of N/acre is the same as everyone in the industry.
I've seen them say traditional N. So maybe urea at 46% or UAN at 28% is their lbs of N. UAN at 110lbs, .28%, and 550 acres is just 16,940 lbs, but at 200lbs it's 30,800. So this doesn't even produce enough to match 110lbs of UAN at their 2% solution. Which to grt to the 110lbs of N like everyone else knows it. Would take 393 lbs of UAN /acre. I missed their presentation yesterday. I would have liked to debunk their snake oil. I do wish there was a cheap way to make fertilizer on the farm. | |
