East Central SD		LOL, I've had the same thoughts! I put in PPS bushings in my parallel arms to avoid bearings, but have RK closing wheel kits. I understand the logic of it, but like you said, bearings seem to last. I guess I don't have any answers for you, but I get where you're coming from. I'll look forward to other replies.
