Cutting spending will cause.......DEFLATION! Gasp!
At least for awhile. And then we'll recover. Stronger and better for it. Just like 20% interest rates crushed inflation in 1980s.....caused pain, bankruptcy etc etc. It was worth it then. This is worth it now.
