The soybean checkoff is a % of every dollar of revenue. It equates to $0.50 of every $100 of revenue. The revenue of the soybean checkoff is dependent on the sales price of the bean. Good marketers pay more than poor marketers.

Corn checkoff is a flat fee per bushel. Apparently, it is state dependent. Minnesota is $0.005/bushel.
