Used to have two 1086. One would start at 10 below without being plugged in or using ether. Only did it a couple of times when something unexpected came up.
The other would start down to about 10-15 degrees, but not very well. Same model year, similar hours.

The one that started the best was set to about 160 horses, the other about 135.
