Yep!! We rebuilt our 4020 20+ years ago, and it starts great in cold weather.

One thing older Deere tractors are sensitive about is valve recession. (Or protrusion, depending on the model) When you do an overhaul, don't skimp on getting the valves where the need to be. Not just within spec, but at minimum spec. (I don't know how much that affects the newer common rail engines, haven't rebuilt any of those yet.)

I've found that getting the valves where they belong helps a good bit. Even if takes all new valves and seats it's worth it, IMO.
