My easiest starter is a 64 3020. Hardest is a 6420. Some reason the 6420 needs constant battery terminal cleaning/tightening. Maybe it's because it uses a top post to screw terminal adapter. (Came that way from factory) I agree that the 30 series were exceptionally bad starters had 3 different 4230 (worst) a 4430 wasn't too bad and a 4630 that would start and then take quite awhile to clear it's throat. Had a 8430 that would fill the barn with thick black smoke starting.
