Having said that, those billionaires are living in the same tax system as the rest of us. Each and every one of us would take advantage of whatever loopholes and tax breaks we can. You likely take advantage of tax breaks that other people can’t. The system isn’t always fair.
From a lot of what is being written it appears that people are being driven to hate Elon because of his wealth. The jealous types are easy targets for that type of propaganda. Think of it this way. Neither you nor I nor anyone at our level would have any way to get into a position to fix any of the grift Elon is finding.
Personally I am very, very thankful that two of the wealthiest people on earth decided to help the lower class people like myself who don’t have the ability to fight a system of corruption that is stealing our wealth. They both could have lived extremely comfortable lives in peace and luxury. I don’t think many of us would have made the choice they did. They both have their own character flaws, like the rest of us, but how many people hating on them could honestly say that if they had that much money they also would have chosen to help others instead of the easy life.
