| I for one would be very happy to find out that the government isn’t as corrupt and wasteful as they want me to believe. Unfortunately what they are finding so far isn’t very reassuring. Attempting to block further investigations also doesn’t help.
I don’t know of anyone, including the very wealthy, who don’t try to avoid paying income taxes. Actually I guess that isn’t really true. Apparently now some people are mad that someone else is trying to lower their tax bill. That is a new phenomenon though.
But I do believe you are correct when you say there has never been a billionaire who bought an election to become president.
