Ketones for more than just fat loss. Alzheimers benefit according to case reports. Hard or impossible to do randomized controlled trials on some things.
I remember a couple years ago any time I would bring up ketones or ketosis the term "ketoacidosis" was always raised. I hope our education over the last couple years has taught us that only in the absence or very low insulin conditions (like type I diabetics) or certain medication interactions ketoacidosis is even possible. For the average person not on medications that interfere it is virtually impossible as long as the person is producing insulin. Type II diabetics have loads of insulin. Way too much insulin for good health. My opinion only based on what I think I have learned.
