Peak gasoline engine was before Barry's insane CAFE fuel economy rules, needless complexity now to eek out that last 0.04 mpg. We are way past the point of diminishing returns.
Toyota seems to do the hybrid thing better than anybody else, and I agree with you that when they do need service the complexity factor is very high. | |
