ECIL | I have some corn in the bin that is obviously turning in color, and it is limited to a certain variety. I could not haul it out until now (contracted food grade)
18% moisture and did have a little diplodia in it last fall, nothing like now. It was about 5%, now about 9% damage. It is not sticky, warm, or smelly at all. It is strictly damage.
The corn is frozen. I ran the fans multiple days when it was way cold and if you stick you arm down it it, it is like sticking it in snow it is so cold. I have no dryer.
I have had a couple loads rejected, and I can't haul the rest in until April and am getting concerned. I can't do a thing about this and have taken every precaution I know of.
Is this going to get worse, fast? | |
