Ok. How can you tell the difference then, just curious?
Simplest is the model tag on the axle...I can tell from the size of the steering joints, the HD axle is a lot bigger, but not sure how to explain the size without looking. Believe the cylinder is bigger as well, but again, without seeing a couple hundred tractors, hard to know the difference.
Or get me the serial number and I can tell you. If it doesn't steer great at most times then you likely have the standard axle. If you do have the HD and you're having steering issues, then likely the Priority valve and boost valve need replaced/resealed.
