South Central MN | We're organic but don't have either blue or green. So far it sounds as though acceptance for organics depends largely on your certifier and which color you buy.
I can't remember which on it was, but several guys got the OK from their certifier to use one, then a couple weeks later got a letter rejecting it.
Personally, I don't see how it isn't considered a man-made process. Just because you use electricity to start a chemical reaction it's supposedly OK for organic , but if you start a chemical reaction by mixing raw chemicals to make something like roundup it's not OK?
That being said, I run a weed zapper and if these nitrogen lighting rigs aren't OK for organics then it's a fine line to still approve the zapper. | |
