| Here (Cayuga County NY) on acers intended for wheat after beans with group 0.8 or .9, I like drilled in 7.5" rows because when the leaves fall in mid-august the closer rows keep shaded longer. For later season beans, I plant 30" rows. As days get shorter in September, weed response to sunlight appear to be reduced. Easier to see rocks in 30" rows if you have any. I spray second pass when I can still see dirt in the 7.5" rows, try to time when rain in forecast to wash in the group 15. | |
